with special interests in medical retina, adult squint & squint surgery,
neuro-ophthalmology and cataract surgery.

Dr. Simon’s unique blend of subspecialty qualifications in medical retina, strabismus, neuro-ophthalmology and general ophthalmology gives her an invaluable array of clinical and surgical skills that allow for evidence-based management to ensure the best possible clinical outcome for her patients. She is an author of many peer-reviewed research publications and presents regularly at conferences. She is the clinical lead for the Strabismus and Neuro-ophthalmology service at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. She is actively involved in teaching and research and is the post supervisor for registrar training at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. Dr Simon is a consulting Ophthalmologist at the Royal Adelaide and Queen Elizabeth Hospitals. She is passionate about her work as a visionary for Sight for All and derives great joy from her work in improving eye health in developing countries.
